Journal Entry: Wed Mar 12, 2008, 7:34 PM
I am currently attempting on applying for college and going back to school to finish my art degree. Its a scary process. Although I work at a college I haven't been a student for more than 12 years, and although I've been doing plenty of artwork I'm afraid that its not quite studio quality.

At any rate, I'm taking pictures of my much loathed oil paintings and so I thought I'd upload a few more here. This will give you another side of my work. Let me know what you think, (even if you hate it).

Your stuff is so cool. How can I put this? The art is very well done, no question. A lot of the work is really funny to me, a lot of it has some kind of humor in it. Like the "real" mario and the "real" sugar bear. Anyway, it's all really good art and also very funny which makes this art so much better!

I've never tried anything in Crumb's style. Who knows I might consider it.

Hey! Could you do some really crazy drawings in pen and ink in a cool R. Crumb way because I think the way you add and fill out drawings with detail would make a really crazy, awesome, and wacky drawing. I was thinking about the more cartoony kind of style, like fritz the cat, Mr. Natural or something like that.
